SIGNAL FLAG ONLINE #31

CHRYSLER JEEP DETROIT APBA GOLD CUP July 6-9, 2000
Sunday October 24 1999

THIS ISSUE: NEWS FROM THE 33RD ANNUAL FINISH / START PARTY. The Finish / Start party is our official rollover from one year's efforts to the next.

*** YEAR 2000 RACE DATE ANNOUNCED:

Get out your calendars! The next APBA GOLD CUP event will be held July 6th through July 9th, 2000.

*** MARK WEBER SPOKE ABOUT THE KIM GREGORY TEAM:

He said that the team has aquired the services of some of the Appian Jeronimo crew members for next year and that Jerry Rice may assist also. This puts a little weight behind the rumor that the Appian team may disband, though it was emphasized no equipment has changed hands.

*** SODT IS LOOKING FOR NEW VOLUNTEERS

Our goal is 60 to 80 more for year 2000. We will be awarding two round-trip airline tickets to the member who recruits the most new volunteers! Be sure to note your name on their application for credit.
