July 9 (Thur): The HYDROFEST benefit party. At the races. Show your support for Thunderfest and the Wertz Warriors of the Special Olympics, Michigan. Festivities include auctions and special presentations along with dinner by the Roostertail Catering Club. $100 each and we anticipate a sellout. Casual, nautical attire.

July 10 (Fri): GOLD CUP MOVIE MADNESS! == The 1976 Gold Cup == Six Decades of Gold Cup Racing! Featuring George Simon's MISS US with Detroit's own Tom D'eath driving. Presented by Pioneers of Powerboating & the Great Lakes Maritime Institute. $10 donation - On the course - At the Whittier Hotel - Raffle and Door prizes - Cocktails & nibbles at 6:30pm, movie at 7:30.
